Coming Soon: The Habitat ReStore
What is a ReStore? As the name implies, it helps people all over the community restore their homes, by selling donated used or surplus building supplies at a fraction of the cost of new materials. The Habitat ReStore helps the community in several ways:
- It provides affordable home improvement products for the entire community.
- It gives our partner homeowner families a way to maintain their properties within their means.
- It uses or re-uses literally tons of materials that would otherwise end up in landfills.
- It serves as a means for building professionals to make tax-deductible contributions of used or surplus materials.
- It provides a source of revenue to help local Habitat for Humanity affiliates like ours continue to build and restore homes.
Find out more about the Habitat ReStore concept, and watch this space for our grand opening sometime in 2007!
