Giving Families a "Hand Up"
Habitat for Humanity changes lives. We change
lives by creating decent, affordable housing in partnership with area
residents and organizations. We change lives by providing volunteers
with the opportunity to enrich their lives while making a real
difference in their community. Above all, we change lives by fighting
poverty housing and helping families reach their dreams of
homeownership, right here in Steuben County.
Find out how we can change your life. Whether you are a prospective homeowner, a volunteer, a donor, or a community partner, this web site can help you learn more about Habitat for Humanity International and our local affiliate. We look forward to working with you.

Mission
As an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, an ecumenical non-profit Christian housing ministry, the Southeastern Steuben County Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with them in seeking to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness – both here in our local area, and worldwide through collaborative projects and shared financial support. We invite people of all backgrounds, races, religions, and ethnic groups to join us in our mission to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action.
